1) Open the copyboard cover (or ADF) fully.
When opening/closing the copyboard cover, be careful not to get your hands
caught between the copyboard cover [1] and the rib [2].
It may cause injury.
2) Disconnect the reader unit communication cable [1] and the ADF commu-
nication cable [2] (models with ADF only).
3) Detach the reader rear cover [1].
