fingers from the inside while doing so. Pull the stocking off
your forearm to turn it inside out down to the heel. Now
use both hands to stretch the foot opening and slip the foot
portion over the foot to the instep. Make sure the knitted
heel area is located on your heel. When putting on the liner
stocking, please make sure that the toe seam is located on
the outside. This protects the sensitive skin in the toe area.
2. Gradually slip the liner stocking over your foot – thereby
turning it the right way round again.
3. Now pull up the stocking evenly and creasefree – without
twisting it or pulling on the top band – and use the flat of
your hand to shape the stocking to your leg. If you pull the
stocking up too far, simply slide it back down to your ankle
and slip it up your leg again with less tension this time. Co-
loured markings on the instep and heel help you to position
the stocking correctly.
4. Now pull the enclosed Juzo Slippie Donning Aid over the
foot until the shorter tab is located over your instep and the
longer tab is located on the sole of your foot.
5. Next pull the cover stocking over the Juzo Slippie Donning
Aid until the knitted heel area is located on your heel.
While doing so, make sure that the end of the donning aid
continues to extend out the front of the stocking opening
in the toe area.
6. Next slide the cover stocking upwards in sections towards
the knee while using a flat hand to shape it to your leg.
Please note that the best wearing comfort is obtained when
the top band of the cover stocking is located approx. 2 cm
below the liner stocking.
7. Finally, remove the Juzo Slippie donning aid by pulling it
forwards out of the foot portion.
8. Juzo Ulcer System treatment set after being put on.
Taking off the stockings (figs. 9 – 10)
Do not take both stockings off at the same time, instead first
fold down the cover stocking, then pull it down over the calf
and carefully over the heel, instep and foot. Once you have
taken off the cover stocking completely, repeat these steps to
take off the liner stocking.
Please note:
Only wear compression garments if they have been prescribed
by a doctor. Compression garments should only be dispensed
by properly trained staff at a medical retailer. Your Juzo
compression garments are largely resistant to oils, ointments,
skin moisture and other environmental influences. The durability
of the knitted fabric may be affected by certain combinations of
the above. This is why it is advisable to have your compression
garments checked regularly at a medical retailer. Please contact
your specialist retailer in the event of damage. Do not repair the
product yourself – this may affect its quality and medical effec-
tiveness. For hygiene reasons, this product is intended for one
person only. The sewn-in textile label (if present) is important for
the identification and traceability of the product. We therefore
ask you not to remove the label under any circumstances.
Washing and care instructions
Please note the care instructions on the textile label sewn
into your compression garment. We recommend turning
compression garments inside out before washing. Wash
compression garments separately when washing for the first
time (they may lose colour). If possible, your compression
garments should be washed every day on a gentle or delica-
te wash cycle (40°C). Tip: a laundry net provides additional
protection for the knitted fabric. Please do not use fabric
softener! When hand washing, rinse well and do not wring.
We recommend the gentle Juzo special detergent. You can
reduce drying time by placing the compression garment
on a thick towel after washing, tightly rolling the towel up
and firmly pressing out excess moisture. Then hang up the
compression garment loosely. Do not leave the product in the
towel and do not dry it on a radiator or in the sun. Please use
the delicates setting when drying in a tumble dryer (suitable
for tumble-drying: see textile label). Juzo compression
garments are not suitable for dry cleaning.

Storage information and shelf life
Store in a dry place and protect from sunlight. Standard
products have a maximum shelf life of 36 months. The
compression garment then has a usage period of 6 months.
The usage period depends on correct handling (e.g. care,
donning and doffing) and normal use of the products. The
usage period of the medical product is printed on the box with
an hourglass symbol. After the 6-month usage period, body
measurements must be re-checked by a medical specialist. In
the event of significant changes in measurements of the body
part that is being treated (e.g. based on therapeutic success,
weight change), re-measurement and supply of a new product
may be required earlier, before the 6-month usage period
comes to an end.
