Force shunt
Important for yearly maintenance: The customer will not notice when one
or two (less than three) loading cells have failed. Therefore, accurate testing
of the weighing system should be integrated into yearly maintenance and/or
service work. Each individual loading cell should be checked using a control
weight.
Overloading: The weighing system currently will not display weights greater
than 40kg. If the machine is overloaded, it cannot be determined by how
much.

Fault Repair
3.1
Weighing Module Not Registering
Symptom:
System settings: Weighing module not registering even though it is installed.
Cause:
Wiring harness from weighing module to SLT is defective or not connected.
Weighing module unavailable.
Remedy:
Check wiring harness and plugs. Replace the weighing module if defective or
re-install it.
3.2
Dashes Instead of kg-Value
Symptom:
Dashes are displayed instead of a kg-value during the wash program.
Cause:
Weighing system was tared, but the control electronic has lost the connection
to the weighing module. A system fault will be displayed. At least three
loading cells have failed.
Remedy:
Weighing results are negative; tare the machine again with an empty drum.
Check wiring harness and plugs. Identify and replace defective loading cells.

Deviating Test Results
Symptom:
Weighing-test results deviate greatly after taring or after calibration.
Cause:
Weighing module is defective. Shipping struts are still installed. Between the

There is a mechanical connection between the oscillating
component and the weighing stand, where weighing results will be
inaccurate or weighing not possible. Onsite-connected or installed
extras will distort the weighing results.
