With the "Automatic" setting, the control selects which valves to operate and
attempts to achieve the target wash cycle temperature during the first water
intake. A prerequisite for this is that a hot-water supply with suitable
temperature must be available. Which valve is activated by the control
depends on the program area and program block of the wash program, as
well as any modifications such as the hard-water kit (valve KH) and water
recycling (valve K6) that might apply.
Three basic factors affect the control, depending on temperature range:
Actual temperature > Target temperature
Actual temperature = Target temperature
Actual temperature < Target temperature

Notes
Depending on the program block,
installed optional extras and the current
water temperature in the suds
container, the control selects the valves
to be opened. In order to save energy, if
possible, the control will attempt to
achieve the target block wash cycle
temperature during the first water intake
by operating the cold and hot water
valves alternately.
The programmer selects No for water
inlet valves 1 to 4 or, for each valve, 1
of 11 possible options from the list "K1",
"K2", "K3", "K4", "K6", "KD", "KH", "W1",
"W2", "WD".
