maximum level in the current block and 0 mm wc. With the Miele Profitronic
M programming and archiving software, however, Drain level 1 can be set
between 350 and 0 mm wc.
Usually, spinning during the entire drain interval is desired. Spinning prevents
residual water from sticking to the laundry, and allows the water to drain out
from between the items of clothing.
Example 1:
The machine comes out of Wash time 3 with a water level of 150 mm wc in
the suds container. Wash time 4 has been set to one minute. The
programmer now sets the level for Drain level 1 (Step 29) to 75 mm. This
means that the drum remains stationary while the water is drained from 150
mm to 75 mm. As soon as the water level drops below 75 mm, the drum will
start spinning.
Example 2:
The machine comes out of Wash time 3 with a water level of 150 mm wc in
the suds container. Wash time 4 has been set to one minute. The
programmer now sets the level for Drain level 1 (Step 29) to 300 mm, which
means that spin occurs while the water is drained from 300 mm to 0 mm.
Because there is only 150 mm wc in the suds container, the drum will spin
during the entire drain interval.
