8. Remove premix elbow.
9. Remove burner ange top gasket.
10. Remove burner by pulling up, making sure not to scrape the sides of the
burner. Place burner aside, ange side down.
NOTE:
Do not use liquids or brushes when cleaning the burner.
11. Vacuum any visible debris inside the burner. Compressed air may also be
used, in moderation, to clean the pores of the woven material. Use the
following guidelines:
ƒ Dislodge any particulate matter from the burner surface matrix, keeping
the air nozzle about 2" from the burner's surface and blowing straight
down the surface. Gently move the nozzle back and forth length-wise
above the surface. Avoid blowing air tangentially across the surface as this
may cause damage to burner surface. Allow particulate matter to fall from
the burner through the air/gas inlet. A vacuum may be used at the air/gas
inlet to assist in removing particulate matter.
12. If any burner damage is detected, contact your Fulton Representative.
Reassemble in reverse order as follows:
1. Replace the fan discharge transition to premix elbow O-ring and apply
Super O-Lube (P/N 2-12-000661) to the O-ring.

ƒ EDR-1500/2000 O-ring P/N 2-12-000235
2. Replace upper and lower burner ange gaskets.
ƒ EDR-750/1000 burner gaskets P/N 2-12-0001270 (2 each)
ƒ EDR-1500/2000 burner gaskets P/N 2-12-0001260 (2 each)
3. Apply belleville washers so that they crown in middle; do not substitute
nuts or washers with unapproved hardware.
4. Apply anti-seize to burner ange studs and torque to 23 ft-lbs. A torque
adaptor will be required and should be used at 90° from the wrench
handle.
5. Torque blower discharge to premix elbow nuts to 19 ft-lbs.
6. Reinstall ignitor or new ignitor. See Veri cation of Ignition Gap for
instructions.
7. Apply CA-5 copper anti-seize to the ame rod hardware threads and install
at no more than 1/8" (3.2 mm) and no less than 1/16" (1.6 mm) from the
burner.
8. Ensure door and all latches are closed when complete.
