9. REMOVE INLET AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY
10. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER
11. DRAIN COOLANT (for Engine)
12. DISCONNECT NO. 2 RADIATOR HOSE
13. DISCONNECT DISCHARGE HOSE SUB-ASSEMBLY
(b) Remove the O-ring from the discharge hose sub-assembly.
NOTICE:
Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent entry of moisture and foreign matter.
14. DISCONNECT SUCTION HOSE SUB-ASSEMBLY
2010 Toyota Prius
Wear insulating gloves.
Make sure that the interlock is fully engaged.
Do not allow any foreign objects or water drops to enter the
inverter with converter assembly.
(a) Using pliers, grip the claws of the clip and slide the clip to remove the
No. 2 radiator hose.
(a) Remove the bolt and disconnect the discharge hose sub-assembly from
the electric inverter compressor.
(a) Remove the bolt and disconnect the suction hose sub-assembly from
the electric inverter compressor.
