INSPECT PLASMACLUSTER (ION GENERATOR)
(a) Replace the plasmacluster (ion generator)
HINT:
Since the plasmacluster (ion generator) cannot be inspected while it is removed from the vehicle, replace the
plasmacluster (ion generator) with a new or a known good one and check that the condition returns to normal.

(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:
Tester Connection
L17-17 (PCD1) - I6-4 (PCL)
L17-36 (PCSW) - I6-1 (IG+)
L17-17 (PCD1) - Body ground
