Action
To connect the MMI terminal to the Fiber Remote Multi-IPE
Interface I/O panel MAINT DB-9 male connector, use the
NT7R66BA MMI Cable.
Plug the NT7R66BA MMI Cable DB-9 female connector into the
DB-9 male MAINT connector on the Fiber Remote Multi-IPE
Interface unit.
Plug the DB-25 male connector end of the NT7R66BA MMI
Cable into the MMI terminal RS-232 port. If it is necessary to
change the gender at the terminal, use the appropriate compact
gender changer.
Action
Use the NT7R66AA SDI Cable Kit to connect the DB-9 female
MODEM connector on the Fiber Remote Multi-IPE Interface unit
to the modem connector.
Plug the DB-9 male connector of the NT7R66AA SDI Cable
Kit into the Fiber Remote Multi-IPE Interface unit DB-9 female
MODEM connector.
Plug the other end of the NT7R66AA SDI Cable Kit into the
modem connector.
Use the enclosed adapter gender changer, if required.
