11) Move the toner supply assembly [1] to the position indicated in the fig-

cover [2].

14) Remove the toner replacement outer cover [1] while supporting it with
one hand.

15) S hift the lever (B-E 1) [1 ] in th e direction of the arrow. Remove the
stepped screw [2] and shift the 4 levers [3] in the direction of the arrow to
detach the intermediate transfer unit cover [4].

16) Release the release lever [1] of the intermediate transfer unit in the direc-
tion of the arrow.
CAUTION: Point to Note When Holding the Release Lever of the
Intermediate Transfer Unit
When shifting the release lever [1], be sure not to grip beyond [A] area of
the release lever [1] otherwise your hands may be caught.
