HTTP/UDP(Unicast):
Once H.264 image is specified for the setting, the maximum number of users allowed for simultaneous access
depends on the frame rate and resolution settings. See the following example:
<Example: When the frame rate is set to "15ips">
Up to 2 users when the resolution is 720 x 480
Up to 4 users when the resolution is 352 x 240
Up to 8 users when the resolution is 176 x 144
UDP(Multicast):
The number of users who can access simultaneously is not limited.
If the multicast setting is turned "ON" on multiple cameras, however, assign a separate IP address or port
number to each camera.
Video image will not be displayed properly when multiple cameras are assigned the same IP address/port
number.
When H.264 images are distributed with UDP protocol, transmission may fail due to the network
environment and/or the performance of PC in use, resulting in partial loss of image, for example. In
such cases, it is advisable to switch over to HTTP protocol to reduce the frame rate or to JPEG
image transmission.
