Reset Pylontech batteries

Occasionally, it may be necessary to reset the Pylontech
batteries. This should only be done if instructed by Redback
Technical Support.
STEP
PROCEDURE
1.
Open the BoS switchgear hatch.
Switch the BATTERY SYSTEM DC isolator OFF.
2.
Turn all batteries OFF.
Ensure that the newest model battery is the Master battery e.g.,
US3000 is newer than US2000 therefore configure cables to make a
US3000 the master.
Check that the Fan-Controller-to-Master-Battery cable and all Link
cables are plugged in correctly.

Ensure all battery DIP switches are toward numbers, as shown
Switch all batteries ON. The "RUN" LED will flash green.

On the Master battery, press the Red SW button for 3 seconds or
until the SoC LEDs flash on all connected batteries, in sequence M, 2,
3, 4.
All connected batteries are now active, and the EMS BATTERY LED
will illuminate as shown below.
FLASHING: Battery detection error, or detection does
not match the Installer created configuration.
ON: The EMS & BMS are communicating.
OFF: Battery is disconnected, or
The EMS & BMS are not communicating or,
Batteries do not match saved configuration.
Switch the BATTERY SYSTEM DC isolator ON.
6.
Observe the Inverter Status LEDs. After 30 seconds the BATTERY LED
will Illuminate as shown below.
ON: Battery is charging
FLASHING: Battery is discharging
DOUBLE FLASHING: Battery low / SoC low
OFF: Battery is disconnected or not active
