Installing the SH5000 Inverter

2.10.1

MOVE BOS TO FINAL LOCATION

Lift BoS from the Wall Mounting Frame and re-
attach using the upper slots in the aluminium
sides. If there is any resistance check that cables
are not binding, being pulled on, bending
excessively, or being stressed in any way.
Rearrange cables as required – ensure all cables
remain correctly fitted.
Fasten BoS to Frame using the screws, flat and
spring washers supplied (2x M5x10 each side).
2.10.2

INSTALL INVERTER

The Inverter sits on top of the BoS, engaging the large
connector, and is secured to the Wall Mounting Frame using
two yokes at the top, one screw at each side, and one internal
screw.
Install the inverter
With an assistant, lift Inverter on top of the BoS.
Align the large connector and pull the inverter
down until the connector is fully engaged.
Fit the upper yokes using the M5x16 socket head
screws supplied, including flat and spring washers.
Ensure the inverter is flush to the Wall Mounting
Frame.
Fit the two M5x12 side retainer screws, including
flat and spring washers.
2.10.3

BOS TO INVERTER COMMUNICATIONS

The BoS is pre-wired with two communications cables to the
inverter. The cables are located at the left-hand top of the BoS.
Plug the Energy Meter cable into socket
Plug the RS485 cable into socket
Fit the captive waterproof caps
WARNING: HEAVY LIFT- 31kg. The Inverter is
heavy: 2-person lift required.
