3.3 Description of UC 300/400
Temperature monitoring
The integrated temperature monitoring of the charging cable ensures safe transfer of the
charging power. Temperature sensors monitor the charging contacts DC+ and DC- during the
entire charging process. If the temperature at one of the charging contacts rises above 90 °C, the
charge control system switches off the power supply to the charging cable immediately and
safely.
