Operating equipment variants

The SICHARGE UC charging station is available in equipment variants with and without Human
Machine Interface (HMI). The following section "Operation" describes operation using the HMI.
Equipment variants without HMI can be operated via the HMI of the connected charge point.
8.2

Safety instructions

Observe the following safety instructions for safe operation of the charging station.
Use the charging cable safely
To use the charging cable safely, it is essential that the following safety instructions are observed.
• Do not forcibly pull the charging plug out of the vehicle's charging socket or the holder on the
charging station
• Check the vehicle's charging cable and charging socket for damage or dirt before charging
• Only start charging with an undamaged and clean charging cable and charging socket of the
vehicle
• Do not change the vehicle position during charging
• Always use the charging cable without an adapter or extension cable
• Do not bend or twist the charging cable
• Do not drop the charging cable
• After disconnecting the charging plug, immediately insert it into the plug holder on the
charging station
• Always place the charging cable back on the cable holder of the charging station
• Protect charging plugs from rain

Optional rain cover for plug holder
A rain cover is available as an accessory to additionally protect the plug holder on the charging
station from rain.
