flushing volume and number of determi-
nations settings in the method.

backwash settings in the method.
Scattering measurements
Remedy
Check the dosing.

Ensure that samples are drawn in with-

out bubbles.
¡
Check that enough sample is provided.

Install a new dosing syringe.

Ensure that reagents are drawn in with-
out bubbles.
¡
Take the reagent blank value into ac-
count.
¡
Adjust the purge flow for reagents.
Check that sufficient reagent is provided.
¡
Insert the hose further into the reservoir
¡
bottle.
Filter samples prior to analysis.
¡
Stir samples prior to injection. To do
¡
this, use an autosampler with stirring
function.
¡
Prevent the addition of CO
vapors from the ambient air.
¡
Check the ambient conditions and rem-
edy the source of the fault.
Cover the sample vessels on the au-
¡
tosampler with aluminum foil.
Treat the headspace of the sample with
¡
gas.
Check the method settings.
¡
¡
If necessary, increase the maximum in-
tegration time.
