OPERATION
Possible Cause
Driving too fast
Set too deep
Cushion Valves are malfunctioning
PTO running too slow
Oil not getting to hydraulic motors
Broken Chain
Failed Coupler
Malfunctioning Flow Divider
Clogged Cooler
No enough oil in Reservoir
Wing Angle Cylinders are out of phase
Oil not getting into Hydraulic Motor
Reel speed too fast
Batt Springs too loose
Compressed Coupler Insert
Overfilling Bucket
Insufficient Reel speed
Poor field conditions
Teeth penetrating too deep
Open Center Hydraulic System on the Tractor
Oil not getting to Cylinders
Electronic Switch Box not functioning

Remedy
Slow down working speed
Raise wings at either float frame posts or gauge
wheels.
Check cracking pressure.
Replace motor mounted cushion valves
Increase PTO RPM to pump rating speed
Check hydraulic connections
Replace broken Chain
Replace Coupler components
Replace Flow Divider
Clean Hydraulic Cooler
Add Oil to Reservoir
Replace Cylinders
Check Hydraulic connections
Check Flow Control Valve
Adjust flow control to slow Reel speed
Tighten Springs
Replace Coupler Insert
Dump Buck more frequently
Adjust flow control to increase Reel speed
Soil should be firm and dry with minimal surface debris
Raise wings and grate so teeth just skim surface
Machine must be run on a tractor with a Closed Center
Hydraulic System
Check Hydraulic connections
Check Valve Block and Solenoids
Check Electrical connections
