Fuel Pump Removal

1. Park the machine on a level surface, disengage the
PTO, turn the ignition switch OFF and remove the
key.
2. Raise the seat.
3. Remove the battery negative cable from the battery.
4. Turn the fuel valve to the OFF position (Fig. 497).

5. Remove the cable tie around the fuel pump wires
and the wiring harness (Fig. 498).
6. Unplug the fuel pump from the wiring harness (Fig.
499).
