Fuel Tank Removal

1. Park the machine on a level surface and disengage the PTO. Stop the
engine, wait for all moving parts to stop and remove the key. Engage the
parking brake.
2. Disconnect the battery by removing the negative cable first, then the positive
cable from the battery.

4. Disconnect vent hose from the fuel tank.
Note: Cap off the fuel lines.

5. Release the clamp securing the fuel line and disconnect the fuel line from
the fuel tank.
6. Remove the LH pod. Refer to
7. Remove the hose clamp securing the fuel filler neck to the fuel tank. Remove
the fuel filler neck.
8. Remove the RH pod. Refer to
9. Using a T40 torx driver, remove the 4 (5/16 inch) bolts securing the badge
plate assembly to the chassis.
