should install this appliance.
1. BEFORE YOU START—YOU NEED TO KNOW FROM
THE HOMEOWNER:
• Will the optional HeatShift System be used;
• Height of the unit and hearth if used;
• Built-in recess above fi replace if used;
• Thickness and type of wall fi nish around fi rebox
opening;
• Required accessories to install in fi replace (liners,
fuel bed, trim);
• Optional accessories if used;
• Venting confi guration.
2. Unpack the appliance, removing all items packed
inside and around it. Recycle packaging.
3. Check that you have everything required for the in-
stallation, using the Pack Content sheet. Also, check
that you have:
• Fuel bed (packed separately);
• Liner panels (packed separately);
• Remote Battery & Wall Switch;
• Venting accessories;
• Gas conversion kit, if necessary;
• HeatShift accessories, if used;
• Electrical accessories.
4. Carefully read the Installer's Checklist included
with the fi replace for the installation sequence.
