6.6.5 Displaying Target ID No.

When an AIS target is activated, a target ID number is displayed next to the AIS target symbol.
A target ID number 1 to 1000 is assigned to each target in the order of receiving targets by MFD. Once
a target ID number is assigned, it identifies the AIS target until the AIS target is lost.

Click on the [Menu] button on the left toolbar.
The menu is displayed.

Click on the [View] - [Options] - [Target] on the menu.
The [Target] dialog is displayed.

Select the method for displaying ID No. from the [AIS Target ID] combo box.
[On]
: Displays target ID numbers.
[Off]
: Hides target ID numbers.
[AIS Track]
: Displays ID numbers of only targets set for track of other ships.
[Ship's Name]
: Displays the ship's name.
Memo
ID number or ship's name is always displayed for only targets with which numeric value is
displayed.
If there are many AIS targets and their symbol display is confusing, set Target Number
Display to off to view the radar display easily.
