Appendix 9

Target list

This section describes the targets of the device/label access service processing setting.
Applicable function
Functions to perform read/write to files accessed by programs
Functions to perform write to devices/labels
Communication functions via the SLMP/MC protocol
Among communication functions using the SLMP/MC protocol, those to which the device/label access service processing
setting can be applied are as follows.
Function
Device memory
Files
Programmable controller CPU
monitoring
*1 Only the file register file can support it. (Other file access is always executed asynchronously from the program.)
*2 When registration/clear command is executed, it does not affect the scan time. However, since the serial communication module will
periodically access into the device memory of the CPU module when Function is enabled, it becomes the target for Device/Label access
service processing setting.

Appendix 9 Target List and Operation Details of the Device/Label Access Service Processing Setting

Description
When read/write is performed to the relevant files during execution of a program, file
inconsistency may occur. Therefore, such operation is performed during the END
processing.
When write is performed to devices/labels during execution of a program, the result of
operation processing may become inconsistent. Therefore, such operation is
performed during the END processing.
