7.2. Hilscher netTAP Setup

Set up the Hilscher netTAP.
7.2.1. Hardware Settings
Check the position of the connectors and connect the cables.
Precautions for Correct Use
Make sure that the power supplies are all OFF when you set up.
If any of them are ON, the settings described in the following steps and subsequent
procedures may not be applicable.

Make sure that netTAP power
supply, Switching hub power
supply, Communications power
supply for DeviceNet and I/O
power supply for DeviceNet
Slave are all OFF.

Check the position of the
connectors on netTAP by
referring to the figure on the
right.

Connect X2 CH0 and Switching
hub with a LAN cable.
Connect Switching hub power
supply to Switching hub.
