13. RESECTION MEASUREMENT
13.1
Coordinate Resection Measurement
N, E, Z of an instrument station is determined by the measurement.
• Between 2 and 10 known points can be measured by distance measurement,
and between 3 and 10 known points by angle measurement.
PROCEDURE
1. In the second page of Meas mode
screen, press [MENU], then select
"Resection".
2. Select "NEZ" and press [EDIT] to
input the known point.
After setting the coordinates for
the first known point press { } to
move to the second point.
When all required known points
have been set, press [MEAS].
• When [READ] is pressed,
registered coordinates can be
recalled and used.

• Press { } to return to the
previous known point.
3. Sight the first known point and
press [DIST] to begin
measurement.
The measurement results are
displayed on the screen.
• When [ANGLE] has been
selected, the distance cannot be
displayed.
