Displays the state of this machine, menu items, etc. on the display.

When the machine is ready to print

"READY TO PRINT" is displayed in the upper row when the machine is ready to print.

When an error occurs to the machine

Upper: Displays the solution.
Lower: Displays the error code and error type.

When the machine enters the Menu mode

Upper: Displays the category or the item.
Lower: Displays the setting value when the item is displayed in the upper row.
The menu depth (level) is also displayed by [>].
