Cleaning the image drum before printing

The image quality may be improved if the image drum is cleaned before printing.
However, drum cleaning reduces the number of printable pages of the image drum.

Open the file to be printed.

Select [Print] from the [File] menu.

Click [Preferences].

Click [Advanced] on the [Extend] tab.

On the [Advanced] screen, click [Run maintenance cycle before printing],
and select [On] from the [Settings].

Click [OK].

Click [OK].

Click [Print].
