Dots and horizontal streaks appear in the paper
feeding direction periodically
Possible causes
If the interval is
approximately 63 mm, the
green tube of the image
drum is scratched or dirty.
If the interval is
approximately 26 mm, dirt
enters the charging roller
inside the image drum.
The image drum is exposed
to light.

White area is lightly stained

Possible causes
Static electricity occurs to the
paper.
Thick paper is used.
Solution
Gently wipe it with soft tissue
paper.
Replace the image drum if it is
damaged.
Open and close the top cover or
feeder cover, and print again.
Install the image drum back to
the printer, and leave the printer
idle for a few hours.
If the problem persists, replace
the image drum.
Solution
Use the paper stored at
appropriate temperature and
humidity.
Use thinner paper.
