Printing is faint in the vertical direction

The paper is moist.
The paper is not supported.
The media weight is set
incorrectly.
The toner saving mode is
enabled.
Solution
Wipe the LED head with soft
tissue paper.
Solution
Use the paper stored at
appropriate temperature and
humidity.
Set an appropriate value for
[Media Weight] in the user-
defined paper settings of the
printer driver. Alternatively,
increase the setting value for
[Media Weight].
If you do not use the printer
driver, click [MENUS] - [FEEDER
CONFIG] - [MEDIAWEIGHT] on
the operator panel, and set an
appropriate value. Alternatively,
increase the setting value for
[Media Weight].
In the menu, set [ADMIN
SETUP] - [PRINT SETUP] -
[TONER SAVE] to [OFF].
Alternatively, set [Toner saving]
to [Off] in the [Color] tab of the
printer driver.
