POSSIBLE CAUSE
No electrical supply to control panel. Check that isolator is in ON
Faulty isolator on control panel.
Loose electrical connections.
Failure of control circuit fuse
Failure of replacement fuse
Rest button on control panel not
engaged.
Current overload in control panel
tripped.
Emergency stop button locked in.
Manual/Auto switch set to off
position.
Compressor previously tripped on
Protection Device
Failure of the pressure switch
Motor single phasing.
For START~DELTA starting: STAR
time too long
On BELT DRIVEN units: belts loose
Low oil pressure switch protection
operates
Current overload set too low.
STAR~DELTA timer set too low
Electrical supply insufficient for
starting requirements

RECOMMENDATION
position. Check for blown fuse.
Check for voltage on each phase
from isolator. Dismantle, clean,
repair or renew as necessary.
Check tightness of all electrical
connections. Check for signs of
overheating or blackening of
cables at terminals.
Check and replace fuse as
necessary.
Check control system for short
circuits.
Press reset button.
Reset current overload.
Check all emergency stop
buttons are disengaged.
Set to manual or auto as
required.
Press reset button to clear.
Remove and test operation.
Replace as necessary.
