Fault Finding - CompAir 5280D.1.IAC Operator's Handbook Manual

The following recommendations cover the more common aspects of fault location and correction.
Before investigation, please ensure:
Cooling water temperature rise across the machine and flow-rate are correct
Direction of rotation is correct
Lubricating oil is at correct level
Compressor servicing is up to date.
If a fault occurs immediately or shortly following a Service; examine parts disturbed during the last Service.
SAFETY WARNING - Do NOT screw down safety valves in an attempt to prevent
them blowing!
