From this list, select the COM port to which your VTR is
connected.

Time code
Select either
the other type of time code. You would do this if the two types of
time code don't match on your tapes. If this isn't the case, you can
select both types of time code to let the VTR decide which one to
use in different operational modes. Your VTR must be set to Auto if
both types are selected.

Inhibit Recording
player, thus avoiding any unintentional tape erasure. This option
won't be available if the selected device isn't capable of recording.

Check for discontinuities every __ minutes
you want the VTR driver to periodically check for discontinuous time
code, and if found, switch to reading the control track. To improve
cueing performance, enter a high number in the corresponding text
box. A low number causes the driver to slow the deck more often to
