What does DigiUtils Setup install?

Chapter 3: Installing the DigiSuite Software
The DigiUtils Setup program that's provided on your DigiSuite
CD-ROM installs the drivers needed to use your DigiSuite cards, and the
DigiSuite Configuration program that lets you configure your cards to
meet specific requirements.
You may also choose to install any or all of the following components:

DigiSuite ActiveMovie files Let you use ActiveMovie programs
with your DigiSuite system, including DigiTools and the DigiSuite
3D Studio MAX plug-in.
Note If Microsoft ActiveMovie isn't installed on your computer
when you install DigiSuite ActiveMovie, DigiUtils Setup will install
the Microsoft ActiveMovie run time files for you.

DigiSuite Video for Windows drivers Let you use Video for
Windows (VFW) programs, such as Adobe Premiere and Ulead
MediaStudio, with your DigiSuite system.

DigiTools A suite of tools you can use to capture and play back
high-quality video and audio clips, as well as convert files between
different formats and record clips onto tape.

VTR driver If you install DigiTools, you may also install the VTR
driver. This lets you control your VTR with DigiTools to perform
frame-accurate capture and print-to-tape of clips using time code.

DigiSuite 3D Studio MAX plug-in Lets you render a
mathematically lossless, alpha-keyed animation in 3D Studio MAX.
With the exception of the DigiSuite ActiveMovie files, each of the above
optional components require DigiMix and DigiMotion cards to be
installed as the first card set in your computer. As well, to install the 3D
Studio MAX plug-in, you must first install 3D Studio MAX.
For instructions on how to use DigiTools, the 3D Studio MAX plug-in,
and Video for Windows programs with DigiSuite, refer to your Getting
the Most from DigiSuite manual.
Important If you update your version of 3D Studio MAX to version
1.1 or 1.2, you'll need to re-install the DigiSuite 3D Studio MAX plug-in.
