Replacing the caster wheel splash guard

Prerequisites:
Optional: Move the seat to the lowest seat height (see Page 15).
Switch off the control unit and deactivate the main fuse (see Page 15).
If necessary: Remove the legrests.
Jack up the wheelchair (see Page 14).
Tools: Allen wrench size 4; torque wrench with Allen insert size 4
Removing the caster wheel splash guard
1) Remove the caster wheel (see Page 57).
2) Loosen and remove the 2 screws on the splash guard (see Fig. 121, item 1).
INFORMATION: A wheelchair with mid-wheel drive MWD has caster wheels with a small splash guard.
3) Remove the caster wheel splash guard.
Installing the caster wheel splash guard
1) Position the caster wheel splash guard on the caster fork from below.

INFORMATION: A wheelchair with mid-wheel drive MWD has caster wheels with a small splash guard.
3) Attach the caster wheel (see Page 57).
