CAN Bus System/RS232

6.1

CAT Wiring from HW 30

The CAT system for the CAN bus can be recognized by 1–2 RJ45 cables projecting from the ceiling tube to
be mounted. One of these cables is sufficient for wiring up to 2 devices.
These cables must be connected to the matching couplers extending from the central bearing shaft.
If a camera is part of the configuration (either in the light head or with its own arm), then its CAN bus is
integrated into the CAT system. The video signals are transmitted by separate cables (3).
CAN bus wiring is done at this point with 1 RJ45 cable for 1–2 devices or with 2 RJ45 cables for 3–4 devices.
The cables and couplers are lettered to prevent mix-up.
