Introduction of the marLED® E series with cw/ww LEDs
Update of the LED technology of the marLED® E series from LEDs with
red/white chips to LEDs with cold white/warm white chips.
For this purpose, there are new Light Engines and new control electronics.
The Light Engines and the control electronics are not backwards-
compatible.
The HW works only with SW ≥40 (10302).
The marLED® E9 (battery) will be discontinued from this HW on, only the
marLED® E9i/E15 (battery) will continue to be available.
Key changes:
New LEDs (cold white/cold warm technology instead of red-white LEDs)

and therefore new Light Engine assemblies.
Not backwards-compatible. There are new spare parts.

Distinctive Light Engine features:

Change of Light Engine boards to white soldermask printing.
Improvement of technical light data in regard to light field diameter, color

rendering, illumination depth.
Standardization of color temperature for the marLED® V series (3,800 K
−
instead of 3,600 K; 4,300 K remains the same; 4,800 K instead of 4,600 K).
This leads to the SW changes of periphery devices listed under SW 40.
From HW 40, the E9i receives a boost function.
