6.2.2 COM Interfaces marLED® and surgiCam on Ceiling Tube from HW 37
The COM interface is usually installed on the same mounting plate as the CAN board (6) using one of the
mounting positions on the ceiling tube.
If the configuration includes a marLED® and a surgiCam, the two COM interfaces for the surgiCam (4) and
the marLED® (5) are mounted on the same mounting bracket.
Their RS232 plugs (1, 2) serve to connect the external control system.
The cover plate (3) must be in place to prevent both the connection of third-party plugs and the accidental
removal of installed plugs.
