2.5 Installing the batteries

Remove the battery cover from the remote control and put 2x AAA size batteries inside the
compartment.
The diagram inside the battery compartment shows the correct way to install the batteries.

2.6 Using the remote control

To use the remote control, point it towards the front of the digital receiver. The remote control has a
range of up to 7 metres from the receiver, if properly aligned towards the IR eye on the front panel.
The remote control will not operate if its path is blocked.

To open the main menu in viewing mode or to go one step back in the menu
Cancellation of current process/exit from main menu to viewing mode
Increases/decreases the volume level in TV mode
Jumps 10 places up or down in channel list or any other list.
Displays the channel list.

Starts recording of the currently watched programme*
Starts/resumes the playback/Timeshift*
Shortcut to recordings list in viewing mode.
Jumps to the previous file during playback.
Jumps to the next file during playback.
Stops playback of multimedia files and Timeshift*.
Flexible functions in OSD menu.
Flexible functions in OSD menu.
Changes the picture resolution in viewing mode.
Flexible functions in OSD menu.
Changes the picture Aspect Ratio in viewing mode.
Flexible functions in OSD menu.
The batteries should not be recharged, disassembled, electrically short-
circuited, be mixed or used with other types of batteries.
