2.6 Installing the batteries

Open the cover on the remote control and insert 2x AAA batteries into the compartment.
The correct position of batteries polar diagram is shown inside the batteries compartment.
1. Open the cover.
2. Insert the batteries.
3. Close the lid.

2.7 Using the remote control and USB adapter

Please first insert the USB adapter of the remote control in a free USB port. This USB adapter receives
the RF (radio controlled) signals from remote control. Without this adapter only the Standby button
will work via the IR sensor (infrared). The remote control has an in-built "G-sensor" which is used as
pointer on your screen in the Android mode. This is called as "Air mouse" function and allows you to
move the pointer by moving the remote control through the air.

Switches to the next/previous channel in viewing mode, jumps
12 places up or down in channel list
Switches to recently watched channels and apps.
Turns the air mouse function ON or OFF.
Channel number and numeric value input
Opens the information bar in the DTV mode
Displays the EPG (Electronic Programme Guide) in DTV viewing
mode
Selects subtitles language from the available ones on the current
channel
Starts recording the currently watched programme.
Opens Teletext if available on the current channel.
Displays the audio selection menu with selections for available
languages and audio modes
Fast rewind during playback.
Turns Timeshift on or off in the DTV mode; starts/resumes
playback in the multimedia mode
Stops Timeshift in the DTV mode; stops playback of multimedia
files in the multimedia mode
Fast forward during playback.
The batteries should not be recharged, disassembled, electrically short-
circuited, be mixed or used with other types of batteries.
