Operation

6.1
Enabling a diamond core drilling machine with (optional) theft protection system (TPS)
The "Theft Protection System" function (TPS) is an option for the DD 160 diamond core drilling machine. If
equipped with this feature, the diamond core drilling machine can be unlocked and readied for operation
only through use of the corresponding TPS key.
Further detailed information on activation and use of the theft protection system can be found in the
operating instructions for the TPS theft protection system.
1. Plug the supply cord of the diamond core drilling machine into the power outlet.
2. Press the "I" or "RESET" button on the portable residual current device (PRCD).
➥ The yellow theft protection indicator LED flashes.
3. Hold the TPS key directly against the lock symbol.
➥ The yellow theft protection indicator LED goes out and the machine is enabled.
If the power supply is interrupted, the diamond core drilling machine remains ready for operation
for approximately 20 minutes. If the interruption is longer, the theft protection system has to be
deactivated again with the TPS key.
