Dial to 4G network.
4. Select >>> of More Settings.
5. Edit dial parameters.
- When connecting the recorder to a private network, enter Dial Number, User name,
Password, APN, and other information.
- When connecting the recorder to a normal network, you do not need to edit the dial
parameters.
6. Optional: For the special private network needing two sets of dial parameters, set the number
on the right of More Settings to 2. Then edit the other set of dial parameters.
Note
If you operate via manual controller, move the cursor to the number position, and press OK
button on the joystick to switch the number. 1 represents normal private network, and 2
represents special private network.
7. Select OK.
8. Optional: Go to Menu → Status → Dial to view dial status.

4.1.2 Set Wi-Fi

You can set the Wi-Fi parameters if the recorder needs to connect to a Wi-Fi.
Steps
1. Go to Menu → Network → Wi-Fi .
2. Check Enable Wi-Fi.
3. Select the configuration file.
4. Select Encryption and Algorithm, and enter Key.
5. Optional: Select Set of More Settings.
- Check DHCP and Obtain DNS, and the recorder will receive an IP address automatically after
connecting to a Wi-Fi.
- Uncheck DHCP and Obtain DNS. Enter IP address and other parameters of the Wi-Fi. Enter
Preferred DNS and Alternate DNS.
6. Select OK.
7. Optional: Go to Menu → Status → Wi-Fi to view Wi-Fi connection status.

4.1.3 Set Local Network

If the recorder is connected to a local network via the network cable, you can configure its IP
address.
Steps
1. Go to Menu → Network → Network .
2. Select NIC Type.
