3. Select an inactivated IP camera.
4. Activate the selected IP camera.
- Select QuickActive. The IP camera password will be set as same as the recorder password.
- Select ManuActive. Enter New Password and confirm it.
Caution
We highly recommend you to create a strong password of your own choosing (using a minimum
of 8 characters, including at least three kinds of following categories: upper case letters, lower
case letters, numbers, and special characters) in order to increase the security of your product.
And we recommend you reset your password regularly, especially in the high security system,
resetting the password monthly or weekly can better protect your product.
Add IP Camera
You can add IP camera manually.
Before You Start
• The network segment of the IP camera is the same with that of the recorder.
• The IP camera is activated.
Steps
1. Go to Menu → Others → IPC .
2. Uncheck Auto Add and select Set of Manage IP Camera.
3. Optional: Edit camera IP address.
1) Select an IP camera and select Edit.
2) Enter an IP address that is in the same network segment with the recorder.
3) Select OK.
4. Add IP camera.
1) Select ManuAdd.
2) Select IP channel No. for the IP camera.
3) Edit the required information.
Note
Select Inner Channel for the camera with multiple channels.
4) Select OK.
5. Select other operations.
- Select Refresh to refresh the IP camera information.
- Select Delete to delete the selected IP camera.
- Select Edit to edit the IP camera information.
- Select Reboot to reboot the IP camera.
- Select Factory to restore the IP camera to the factory settings.
