5. Optional: Press a numeric button and the positioning system will move to the corresponding

predefined position.

3.5.4 Enable Start Preset

You can enable start preset if you want the positioning system to place in a certain preset.

Before You Start

Connect positioning system to the recorder, and set the parameters.

Steps

1. Go to Menu → Enforcement → PTZ .

2. Check Enable Start Preset.

3. Select Start Preset.

4. Select OK.

If there is dust or rain on the lens panel of positioning system to block or blur your sight on the

monitor, you can enable wiper. If the brightness of the surroundings is insufficient, you can enable

light.

Steps

Note

The operation below is done via touchscreen. If the system does not support touchscreen, you can

press Set button on the manual controller to enable/disable wiper, and press Day/Night to enable/

disable light.

1. Enter live view mode.

2. Tap PTZ, and the PTZ control panel pops up.

3. Tap Set.

4. Check Light or Wipe.

Note

It is recommended not to enable wiper for long time, or the wiper may be damaged.

You can enable heater to remove fog around the lens of positioning system.

Steps

1. Go to Menu → Enforcement → PTZ .

2. Select Trigger of Heat PTZ.
