3.5 PTZ Operation

Configure PTZ parameters and control PTZ.

Control the connected positioning system lite via manual controller.

• Rotate the joystick clockwise to zoom in.

• Rotate the joystick anticlockwise to zoom out.

• In manual focus mode, press Near+Up to focus on near view. Press Far-Down to focus on far

view.

• Press Setup to enable wiper. Then the wiper will keep running. Press Setup again to disable

wiper.

• Press Day/Night to turn on the supplement light.

Enter live view mode. Tap PTZ, and the PTZ control panel pops up. Operate the PTZ control panel to

control the positioning system.

Note

PTZ operation via touchscreen varies with different models. The actual positioning system prevails.

Set a preset via manual controller.

Before You Start

Connect positioning system to the recorder, and set the parameters.

Steps

1. Enter live view mode.

2. Rotate the positioning system to a desired view.

3. Adjust its focus and zoom.

4. Hold a numeric button (1 to 9) for 2 seconds until the manual controller makes a single beep

sound.

Note

You can repeat the above steps to add more presets or modify preset. The set presets cannot be

deleted.
