9.3 Import Configuration File

The configuration file of one recorder can be imported to multiple recorders if they are to be
configured with the same parameters.
Before You Start
• Connect a USB device containing configuration file to the recorder.
• Export the configuration file first.
Steps
Caution
Only recorders of the same model and version can share configuration file.
1. Go to Menu → System → Config. File .
2. Enter password to get authentication.
3. Select Import.

9.4 Export Configuration File

The configuration file of the recorder can be exported for backup.
Before You Start
Connect a USB device to the recorder.
Steps
1. Go to Menu → System → Config. File .
2. Enter password to get authentication.
3. Select Export.
Result
The configuration file will be exported to the USB device.

9.5 Restore Default Settings

You can restore the system to factory settings.
Go to Menu → System → Default . Enter password to get authentication. Select the restoration
type.
Restore
Restore all parameters, except the network (including IP address, subnet mask, gateway, MTU, NIC
working mode, default route, server port, etc.) and user account parameters, to the factory default
settings.
