Advanced Decoding Parameters can help you read difficult and damaged symbols, and are
optimized for direct part marks DPM.
Optimize Using DM Internal Alignment Pattern
Alignment Pattern Mode AP Mode directs the algorithm to use the internal clock pattern of Data
Matrix symbols with multiple data regions.
When enabled, it improves both decode time and decreases the read timing variance, guaranteeing
that the code will be read on the first pass.
The decode time impact of this feature is low when there is no internal alignment pattern.
Data Matrix Symbol with Multiple Data Regions:
Serial Command: <K478,,0>
Default Setting: Disabled
Options:
0 = Disabled
1 = Enabled
Examples:
<K478,,0> = Disabled
<K478,,1> = Enabled
