— This command clears the following registers:

The Standard Event Status Register
•
The Event register of the Questionable Status Register structure.
•
The Event register of the Operation Status Register structure.
•
The Event register of the Temperature Status Register (a part of the Questionable
Status Register structure).
•
The Event register of the Hardware Status Register (a part of the Questionable
Status Register structure).
•
The Error/Event Queue.
*ESE <value>
— This command sets the Standard Event Status Enable Register to the
specified value. The value is specified in decimal form with the following value assignments:
1 Operation Complete
2 Request Control (not used)
4 Query Error (not used)
