The MDI and MDI-X settings do not apply when ports are operating at
1000 Mbps.
The ports have a maximum operating distance of 100 meters (328 feet).
Here are the cable requirements:
10 or 100Mbps - Standard TIA/EIA 568-B-compliant Category 3
unshielded cabling
1000Mbps - Standard TIA/EIA 568-A-compliant Category 5 or TIA/
EIA 568-B-compliant Enhanced Category 5 (Cat 5e) unshielded
cabling.
Note
For the cable requirements for the ports on the AT-x930-28GPX and
AT-x930-52GPX Switches for PoE devices, refer to "Cable
Requirements" on page 32.
Refer to Table 35 on page 210 and Table 36 on page 210 for the port
pinouts of the 10/100/1000Base-T copper ports.
