Installing Server into the Rack

For detailed information on installing the server into the rack with rails supplied by
Rack-Mounted Server Installation Guide
Inspur, see
If you would like to use non-Inspur rails, please contact Inspur Customer Service
first to ensure the server can be installed to the rack safely and properly. The
loading-bearing capacity of non-Inspur rails must be higher than 50 kg. If not,
you MUST use Inspur-supplied rails as using these non-Inspur rails may cause
such risks as installation failure. Inspur will not assume any responsibility or
liability for any damage or injury caused by this.
To reduce the risk of personal injury or damage to the equipment, DO secure the
mounting ears to the posts firmly to avoid server from moving or sliding out from
the cabinet.

Power On/Off

To power on and off the server, press the power button.
To completely shut down the server, press the power button and disconnect the power
cable from the server.
To reduce the risk of personal injury, electric shock, or damage to the
equipment, remove the power cord to disconnect power from the server.
The Power button does not shut off the system power completely. Portions
of the power supply and some internal circuitry remain active until the AC
power is removed.
If you are installing a hot-swap device, it is not necessary to power down the
