The ACTAS Interface

The ACTAS Interface supplies power, generates
test pictures and provides communications with the
host computer for the ACTAS system.
On the front panel of the ACTAS Interface there
are three D9-connections : one for the ACTAS
Control Unit; one for the RS232 port of a projec-
tor ; one for the host computer. There is also a
power indication lamp (LED). When the power
is on, the LED will illuminate.
On the rear panel of the ACTAS Interface there
is a power cord with a 3-wire grounding plug for
the power (mains) supply.
There are 4 BNC connectors marked as TEST
PICTURE OUTPUT. These connectors supply
the test pictures for the ACTAS alignment.
