PROCEDURE FOR ALIGNMENT

The procedure for alignment of a wall is nearly the same
as that for a single stand-alone, except that in a wall a
reference projector is required.
Starting from scratch, follow the steps below to align the
projectors of a wall :
1. Check and modify items in the 'Set parameters'.
2. Use the 'Select/learn config' to select first a configu-
ration block (nr0 to nr19), then execute the 'Learn
config' command to let the ACTAS know the configu-
ration : how many projectors in a wall and their
addresses, and so on.
3. Prepare one projector to be used as the reference
projector (e.g. Projector 1).
In order to start with a reference projector that has
good light output characteristics, it is strongly advised
to prepare such a projector proceeding as described
in Chapter 3 'Alignment of a single projector', using
the reference kind 'C Temp' (e.g. on '6000K'), with
'Defocusing' on. Switch the setup for 'Init bri & con' to
'ON' to ensure a correct level of the brightness.
4. Use the 'Select/edit setup' to change the reference
kind from 'C Temp' to 'Custom' or 'G2'.
5. Execute the 'Get reference' command to allow the
ACTAS to obtain the reference values from the refer-
ence projector.
6. Start adjusting Projector 1 by executing the command
'Start adjust'.
7. Remove the Sensor from the adjusted projector, and
install it to the next projector to be adjusted.
8. Start adjusting by executing the command 'Start
adjust'.
9. Repeat Step 7 & 8 for the other projectors.
The items between brackets may be skipped, but need
to be checked. All the menus are explicitly explained in
Chapter 2. Please refer to the corresponding sections for
details.
Important :
Adjusting color temperatures must be done
after all other projector adjustments, including
geometry, convergence, G2 level, contrast modu-
lation and so on (Please refer to your projector
manuals).

Set Parameters

There are 3 editable items. Most of them are set correctly
by default. Fill in or edit the items as follows :

Auto pause mode : 'On' to prevent burn-in
